Local Commercial Break From Rapsittie Street Kids — 2002

First off, if you don’t know what Rapsittie Street Kids is, it’s the worst Christmas special ever made and a source of endless jokes on the Internet ’round Christmastime. It was also believed that an off-TV recording of the special would never surface, as the thing aired around two in the morning on most WB affiliates. The copy on YouTube was sourced from one of the producers.

So when I loaded a tape of something completely unrelated into the VCR, and the opening to Rapsittie started up, I just about fell off my chair. It was the end of the tape, and only 17 minutes wound up being recorded, but it was enough to find out what the breaks were like in Portland. Historical moment, people!
