Daria The Wacky Weather Lady — November 2000

Most people remember the deliverer of tomorrow’s weather news on Portland’s WB being Lisa Hughes, but believe it or not, it was originally THE Daria O’Neill.

This partnership didn’t last very long. We can only speculate why, but Daria dropped a large hint on her radio show once: she said her overlords at the station wanted to call this “The Weather In Leather” and have her wear a different skintight outfit each day. Daria just wanted to do wacky schtick like what you see here, but it was made clear she was there for one reason only.

It’s a real shame management was so skeevy. Nothing against Lisa, but….we could’ve had Daria! We could’ve….had….Daria.
