Saturday Night Dead Promo — 1990

Oh boy, what a find. Apparently for a few weeks in 1990, KGW put together its own homegrown late-night horror-movie block with “radical” in-your-face hosts. This wasn’t even mentioned in the TV listings (just the movies themselves)…I had no idea this show ever happened until I found it at the end of a Saturday Night Live recording from November 3, 1990. That slot placement is why they called it “Saturday Night Dead.”
