Tom Peterson Appears In OPB Telethon — March 1989

Technically this is from an episode of The Collectors (a PBS series produced locally that Antiques Roadshow ripped off later), but it’s a live episode, folded into Pledge Week, that we’re sure wasn’t part of the national distribution. The majority of the episode’s content involves begging for money and occasionally rating the value of antiques.

And then Peterson shows up out of nowhere! You just never know where he’ll turn up.
