Tom Peterson’s Super Stores: The First Ads

It took a while to get them in order, but we’re finally ready to bring you every ad that ever ran for Tom Peterson’s Super Stores, the venture that sunk the Unsinkable Flattop.

Stereo Super Stores was a local chain of stereo outlets; when they fell on hard times Peterson accepted their offer of a buyout, then converted them into Happy Places To Buy. In March of 1991 Tom Peterson’s Super Stores launched with these two spots (and a third one you’ll see next). Buckle up, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
